1964 – 66 Chef in private New York households, including legendary showman/millionaire Billy Rose
1966 – 68 Personal chef to Mrs. John F. Kennedy, during which time the former First Lady hosted international rulers, statesmen and royalty at her table
1968 First cookbook published Annemarie’s Personal Cookbook
1969 Food editor for The Saturday Evening Post
1970 Food editor for the German counterpart of Family Circle
1971 Founder and operator of Annemarie’s Cookingschool, NYC
1972 Food stylist for magazine and TV ads
1973 – 82 Nationally touring lecturer/cooking teacher to benefit nonprofit organizations. Annemarie’s Cookingschool continues to produce both professional and amateur cooks of note.
1984 Established Annemarie’s Dining Room, a private dining facility catering to discriminating corporate and private clients
1982 – 84 Host of “Cooking with Annemarie,” a nationally syndicated show on Lifetime
1983 – 86 Host of “Saturday Morning Live,” a cooking show telecast saturday mornings on Fox TV/Channel 5
1984 Purchased townhouse at 104 East 30th Street, NYC, where Annemarie’s Dining Room and Annemarie’s Cookingschool currently operate
1985 – 88 Executive chef to Gourmet Magazine
1986 Completed renovation of townhouse and moved Dining Room and Cookingschool into facility
1989 Host of “Crazy for Food,” a nationally syndicated show on PBS
1990 Bought a 127-acre farm in Virginia, and developed it as private source for fresh produce
1992 Established The Epicurean Circle, a club dedicated to fine food and wines
2001 Began preparations for establishing unique vacation resort on Virginia property, where couples will enjoy first-class accommodations, cooking instruction, gourmet meals, insights into gardening and raising vegetables and herbs
Since 1986 Operates Annemarie’s Dining Room and Annemarie’s Cookingschool, reflecting a 40-year epicurean legacy
